I don't know if the knifeedge peops browse through here or not, but I have a good idea for version 5. BLUE TOOTH BABY (or FM, or 2.4Ghz, or whatever works the best with the least latency). We need a wireless controller. The tech has been around forever and is cheap as heck so I'd like to see the next controller go wireless. Doesn't even really need to be lipo or nimh (though it would be nice), even AA's would work good for me.
I've owned the original oldschool version, g2 and then g3, but I skipped g4. I will get g5 when it arrives prob in another year or so, but please oh please work on the wireless thing ;) And for you marketing guys, wireless would be a HOT bulletpoint item for the new features list :)
