Those running 9451s or any other metal geared futaba servo in their MA heli, what are you doing with the servo support, I know the screws that come with the kit are for nylon gear servos, so wondering what the fix is for the metal geared servos?

They screw into the metal output shafts also as long as you have the 2.5mm ones for Futaba servos. Just put a TINY bit of blue locktite on it and screw it in snug.

Ok thanks, I think the 9451s might be 3mm though

use the ones for JR servos , they are M3 , pretty sure all futaba are 2.5mm though

The 9451's are 3mm. Use the ones that are for "JR".

Sorry you feel that way. I don't know what else MA can do. They supply both size servo bearing studs that screw into the servo that goes into the support bridge. They have been supplying both size studs for the last 3 years or so now. They realized people would use different servos so they put both of the most common sizes in the kits.
Page 107 of the kit instructions will show both sizes of the Servo Bearing studs

2.5 mm threads is for the Futaba plastic geared servos and most of the Futaba metal geared servos. The 9451 is a new Futaba servo with metal output gear. It is news to me that it is threaded 3mm. In the past all the Futaba standard size metal output geared servos were threaded 2.5 mm.
The JR plastic gear and metal out put gear have always taken a 3mm screw.
That is why MA started putting both size bearing support studs in the kits about 3 months after the Extreme came out. They realized it was easier to both sizes in the kits.

Oh, not getting the heli because of the studs, just the entire order of the stratus kit has been jacked around, so just going to get something I can get now no questions asked

Ok don't understand. The shops either have the Stratus kits in stock or they do not.
I posted couple of days ago a shop I was told that had couple of Stratus kits in stock. It is a shop in Orlando and they drive to MA and pick there parts and kits up directly.
