Buy raptor 50v2 or wait for Titanium

I was wondering if I should wait for the new Raptor titanium or buy the raptor 50v2. I am a beginner and I am having trouble waiting to get into the hobby. I have the other items, like radio and such, just need the helicopter. :)

If your a beginner, I would go ahead and get the V2. You can always upgrade the boom and blades later. You won't find a need for the push/pull servos starting out until you reach 3D level.

That's just what I would do though.

I agree with Motions... for learning you will not notice any of the upgrades/changes. Plus once you progress to a point where you will notice a difference and start 3D it seems like your upgrade opportunities increase...if you know what I mean! :^)

Instead of waiting...start burning some fuel!

thanks for the info. I heard a rumor that the Raptor 50v2 will not be produced any more. I keep practicing on the simulator and can not wait to get the real thing. :)

I also will have to say go for the R50v2, Throw a hyper in there and it will blow your Nuts off *grins*.
Also Jscheif, what simulator are you using?
I started off flying an R30v2 before i got a simulator, i bought Reflex XTR and to my amazment it was actually easier to fly the real thing... i cant quiet figure out how or why it was easier but it was :p
So if your comming in with an R50, i'll just say it'll be even easier than i first found :p

I heard the rumor from the sales dept at Heliproz. They are out of the raptor 50v2 and do not expect to get any more, or so they say. I also bought realflight g3 because I didn't have a radio at the time.

Heliproz says they expect some raptor 50v2 soon so the rumor is false. Sorry, I shouldn't listen to sales people.

I will order my helicopter next week. Hope to be flying by the end of the month. :D

Heliworld is already letting you order them.
