Fly-In - Suffolk, VA, Nov 14th & 15th, Toys for Tots 2nd Annual Fly In
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Come join us and the US Marines for a great cause to ensure disadvantaged children will be wearing smiles this Christmas. Last year we collected 134 toys and over $1400.00 and we know with your help, we can help more children this year.

This years event will kick off late afternoon of November 14th with a night flying frenzy that is expected to illuminate the night skies over Suffolk! The goal is to set a new field record by blocking the stars with over 20 airborne night flying aircraft. Carnage is a possibility but don’t let that scare you away from participating in this rare event. Glow aircraft are permitted until 9:30PM and electrics until 11:00PM. Onsite camping is permitted but there are no utility hookups and alcohol is prohibited. Flying will resume at dawn until event setup crew arrives.
Saturday, November 15th will provide plenty of daylight flying, food, and raffle prizes. All aircraft, (no turbines please) are welcome during our main event. The Marines will make a tactical entrance Saturday morning arriving in a Boeing CH-46 Sea Knight helicopter. The helicopter and crew will be available though-out the day to guard the toys, provide tours, and answer questions. Buddy box flying will be available for guests who wish to experience model flying for the first time.
Landing fee is an unwrapped toy or a $10 donation and 100% of all proceeds collected will benefit Toys for Tots.
