I have a couple of 500 and both are setup similarly..

My CG, I just got and when I flip it inverted, the tail rotates about 45 deg to the left.. (as I face the heli)..consistently.

It FF fine.

The setup is 0 deg at mid stick with +- 10 deg at idle up and 100-95-100. Hitech 5245, GY401 with 9252 tail. AR7000 with X9303.

Any ideas what could be causing the 45 deg turns?

do u mean it kicks to left 45 deg?

1 chk belt tension,
2 tail system slop,
3 try inc gain
4 a faster tail servo. the 9252 is v slow in today's standard for a rudder servo

Thanks, I will try out your suggestions.. maybe my belt is too tight..

The tail servo is actually is a 9257, a typo in my part..

Turn up the gain till it wags then back it off a bit. Also, the carbon tail blades are way better than stock!
