Belt-CP in ALIGN 450 scale 500E??

Hi all
looking 4 info, got belt cp and want 2 have a go at a scale project,
thinking of a Align 450 500E as can get 1 at very good price.Will a belt fit
easy or will it be a real pain 2 do :roll:. Thanks 4 any info and help, thread on
the t-rex 450 500E great, it got me thinking about a scale project.

It is too small to fit in the fuselage.
The Belt-CP is not long enough between the main rotor and tail rotor.

There are lots of other fuselages available for the Belt-CP.

I put a Belt CP into Align A109 and it fits perfectly. So, I'd say the Align MD500 will fit also.

For the heck of it, I took a quick measure of the distance from the main shaft to the tail rotor shaft; Trex ~17", Belt CP ~17" +/- 1/8". And, if indeed the Belt CP has a shorter distance than Trex, I'd say it wouldn't be difficult to shorten the tail boom of the fuse slightly.
