Hey,

Does anyone else have problems with the Raptor helicopters on G3. Sometimes when I just start to fly with them the blades will just fly off, or if you let the Raptor just sit there at speed the landing skids will just break.

Not to much of a problem because I just hit reset, just annoying. :bomb:

Also, after flying for about half tank sometimes blades go out of track and have trouble landing helicopter. This only happens with the raptor helicopters.

I havent noticed this on my G3. THat is interesting. Are they the base model with no changes? Also what update of G3 are you running??

That'a a raptor for ya!!!

Just kidding, have you tried reinstalling everything? The G3 and the add ons package?

Also, you can go to knifeedge.com, they have forum support there for the simulators.

Yes the models are in the base mode. I did not change any of the values for the helicopters. Whats weird is this only seems to happen on the Raptor models from expansion pack 3.

Well thanks. I will try that websight.

I just experience the same thing with the blades going out of track. I was trying to hover out a tank inverted, after a while the blades started going out of track and it was losing power. When I go right side up, the power comes back, but the blades are still out of track until it crashes. :? :dontknow

Do you have inflight failures turned on, and is that a failure being thrown at you?

I bought the new G3 expansion pack 1 today. This version updates the program to the later 430 version. All problems have gone away and the raptors fly fine. So thanks everybody.

The physics seem a little different, I haven't flown enough to know if the physics are any better. The bergen gasser is cool :glasses2: .

I'm having problems connecting my Tx Futaba 9C to G3. I get to the calibration stage then there is input on the channels without any stick movement. Also, when I move the throttle there is input from both throttle and aileron. Radio is in PPM mode. Any suggestions?

it sounds like an ail/throttle mix is active.
generate a new model in the radio, and set it up alone for the sim..
