Just curious, if I need to adjust something.

Your choice. Click file, settings, physics, unlimited fuel, yes or no.

Yes it does run out, you can also adjust the rate at which it runs out also.

then how do we set the timing so that after 6 mins the fuel will run out ?

You need to edit the aircraft.


Locate the Heli Mechanics component
Locate the Torque Generator property
Click the Value for the Torque Generator, then click the little [...] button that appears.
Write down the Fuel Comsumption (oz/min)
Multiply that value by 6 minutes
Locate the Main Fuel Tank
Set the Fuel tank size (oz) to the value calculated above.


This assumes that you run the engine at full throttle the whole time, but it should be kinda close if you fly in Idle Up.

I didn't realize that you responded with the settings here. I've done it, and I'll try it. It sure didn't feel right never running out of fuel. Thanks a lot.
