I was planning on making it. After Sunday's total destruction of one of my helicopters I don't know if I am gonna make it up now.

Come on up anyway!! We're always wrenching on stuff at the field anyway! I hate it when I plant one the week before a fly in!! It's looking like good weather for the weekend, and we are expecting a great turn out.

If anyone needs help let me know.

Weather Update!!
It looks like the weather is going to be fine for the weekend!! There may be a shower on Friday, but the weekend should be fine. Low 80's with a light 3mph breeze on Saturday, and partly cloudy. Sunday is about the same with a chance of a late afternoon shower.

Was nice at the field this evening. Slight breeze which stopped around 6ish. Very nice weather and wasn't hot. Forecast looking better tomorrow also so i can't wait to see everyone there. Looks like we got lucky as the Torpical Storm has missed us!!
Already several pilots at the field and already saw a freak sticker so "they" are starting to roll in lol
Can't wait to see everyone again this year
See you tomorrow morning!!!!

After the last two weeks, 6 hours of windshield time and several hours in the sun is going to be too much. Thought I had a riding partner, but they decided to ride with someone else.
Maybe next year...

Wish I could have came :( Fri was our anniversary & sat. was my daughters birthday so that made the funds as well as time tight. Maybe next year I can get a kitchen pass :D

I've been looking forward to this event since last years, but (RATS*!!) got there really late Saturday and could only stay an hour. Didn't even unpack the heli, but grabbed my camera and snapped a few shots:
topgunpix.com.
Just like last year, the flying was amazing! Also, even at the late hour when I arrived, there were still experienced pilots helping out new guys; tired, sunburnt and everthing. It was a great time last year, and is seemed like more folks made it this year (dispite the hurricane!)
Next year, I'm turning off my cell phone on Friday(!), and camping out at the field with my charger and a case of 30%.
Enjoy the pics.

Nice shot's Pete!! Very much looking forward to next year..
Oh yeah, this club has their own mail box, now that's class...
Thanks again..
