Not bad for $109... I ordered one and will post a review when it arrives.

It will be good if going to build Lynx or Blackhawk helicopter :)

Yeah, I am going to use it on Darth's Blackhawk Fuselage. I also have a Heliartist 4 blade head. After I get used to flying with the head and tail I will drop it in the fuse. I am modeling the fuselage after one of our Hawk's in our hanger here. It was one of the ones we took to Iraq with us... I'll post pics.

Awesome piece, if the quality is good. My only wish is that someone besides High Torque would come up with a raised tail. His sucks and my custom made one is heavy.

Wow, now that looks like a quality kit. Anyone tried this out? I would swap mine except that I have already built the fuse around my version. It'd be interesting to measure it out though.
I may have to ask for another frame for Christmas to build a Blackhawk!

Looks like it would add a lot of weight to an already tail heavy prone model. What'd ya think?

I'm thinking that too. Although, depending on the fuse, there is a lot of room to counteract that, especially in my S76 as it goes a long way out front of the mast.
Either way, a nice looking piece for scale looks.

I just recieved mine today. I have the elevated tail on order from cnchelicoter.com also. I will install and fly this on my Trex this weekend. All in all, the build is quite good. The tail housing is a one-piece design. Everything opperates smoothly. One thing I havenoticed is that none of the screws are loc-tited. Now, I would go through and re-loctite everything anyways, just thought i would mention it. I have Darth's Blackhawk fuse mostly complete with some scale add-ons. I hope To have the Hawk flying in a few weeks. I'll post some pics and vids of the flight report this weekend.

I'm anxious to see how easy it is to change out belts. The ReadyHeli tail box is great, but the stock Align one is hard as heck to try to assymble inside a scale fuse.

I know thats right, way too many little bitty parts to hold together while you assemble it.

I actually super glued the spacers onto one side of mine to make an assymbley. Helped out a little and took the most frustrating part out of it.
Hurry on that write up so I know if it's worth the money!

I'll see about getting it installed tonight and I will fly tomarrow before work. I don't want majuro15 to have to wait any longer :D . Plus that S-76 needs a 4 blade tail too...

Hehehe it has a four blader on it already. Just a cascading type. I wouldn't use this on it as I have it custom made around the Align box already.
But there's always next time!!!

I broke down and ordered the tail kit tonight after my homemade one went bust. I'll do another thread on it, should have it next week.

OK, so I installed the tail tonight... everything went well... loctited everything and put on the stock align tail blades. Did a little test hop in the garage... Definatly need to tone down the gyro. The four blades makes it a little touchy. I think if I turn down the sensitivity it should help. I started at 100. I'll do another flight in the morning. Majuro15, I'm looking forward to your report on the elevated tail.

Cool to hear you got it on no problem. I have my gyro down around 65 with my four blade tail and it's solid (when the belt works).
PS I'm putting in my WOFT package as we speak. Hoping to pass my 1a physical next month. Thanks for what you guys do.

ok, I flew the tail again this morning and everything went perfect. My gyro gain is down around 60 now and the tail feel perfect. The trex ran smooth with the 4 blade tail and everything was well balanced. I didn't have any shakes or wobbles.... I'll have my wife shoot some vids this weekend. I give it a 9 out of 10 over all.
To bad the Penta Head isn't this easy out of the box. I would love to buy one for my 500D.

Felt, I'd recommend it anyway. If you take the time to rework it correctly and have a little inginuity, it's a great piece. Make it another project!
Good to hear that it was smooth. can't wait to see pictures and videos!
