ion-X battery size limits?

How thick batteries fit under the canopy on a ion-X (not X2)?

I guess about 35mm, but would like to know exactly.

40MM is about the max without major mods. I am running the Evo 4350 packs and they fit fine but are really the limit if you want to run a canopy.
