Just a FYI for people switching from a lower JR radio to the 12X
I went from a X9303 to a 12x. Upon transferring my settings manually from the X9303 to the 12x, my TREX700 with JR G7703D/8900G combo suffered from a horrible tail wag in fast forward flight.
It ended up being the gyro sensitivey menu, that on lesser radios like my X9303 used about 62% of gyro gain to do it's job. <50% was rate mode, and over %50 was head holding. ON the 12X you can choose T lock on Non T lock mode, which effectively is tail lock or head holding mode. I must not have understood this properly when reading directions as I copied over my settings to the 12x for 62% gain on the gyro and go the mentioned shudder/tail wag. After reducing the gyro gain to about 36% all is well and tail holds solid.
Just wanted to warn 12X users of this change in the radio from one type of JR to the next, and hopefully you can avoid some frustrations.
