Hello,
Well I was out flying today, finally a nice day. Anyhow I pretty much just coasted around on my first tank as it was my first flight of the year. On the second tank I did some inverted flyin, etc etc. Occasionally when I was putting alot of stress on the heli I could hear a woom woooom wooooom sound and at the same time the heli would jerk side to side and then after the sound/wiggle it would be flying like normal again. Do you think this is signs of a worn out clutch and liner.. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

are you flying with a governor? If you are then the reving up and down of the engine is probably a worn clutch.

Sounds like the one way bearing in the hub on the main gear.Raptors are notorious for this.

so which one was it guys? , I'v had the same exact problem yesterday.. as soon as I idle-up there's a sound of something skipping or slipping.. either the clutch or the one-way bearing,, hard to tell !

Most likely it is the one way bearing.
If your motor sounds like it is reving more than it should before the head starts to spin up that means your clutch liner it worn and could be that.

definitely need very close inspection on the bearing first, then the clutch + liner!!

thanks bill

Good idea since it is the easiest of the two I would just replace it:
