spectrum dx7 power on no display

hey guys first post in here.
the other day i turned on my tx an the display was blank turned it of back on again and all was good..???
also noticed that with the power on an the model name on screen t-rex 600n, the best way to dicribe would be the eett-rex 600n looked like it was running down the screen like paint is this odd or maybe just the way the sun was across the screen..
any help or thoughts would be appreciated.:cheers

A possiblity that I could think of... Check if your battery connector is loose due to alway plugging it out for charging and thus the intermittent power supply?

Was the radio exposed to extreme heat or cold. This can cause display problems because of the liquid composition of the screen.
