I am going to be starting my scale project with a Jet Ranger XL kit #1053 from East Coast Vario. It is designed around the JetCat or Jaka Turbines and I am going to use the Jaka since my last JetCat experience ended nasty. I'm wondering if I should go with the limited edition? Any help from you experienced scale guys would be welcomed.

My Advice is to go with the LE. At some stage you may decide you want something bigger and if you do, the LE will power it. If you have a less powerful one, you may end up having to sell it at a loss to buy the new one.

That's what I thought too. Thanks for the feedback.

Your going to love the Jakadofsky Turbine! I pretty much tortured mine in the Cobra till I found out my Exhaust pipe was too small!! Even with my mistakes she kept running like a champ!! This was with the "R" version!!

Gary,
I just received my first LE and Len Mount mechanics from Al and, let me tell you, this is a beautiful outfit and quality beyond belief. I am planning on putting it into Project X, however Project X is currently on hold due to the major screw-up UPS just performed on my fuselage. You know that fuselage made it all the way from the UK without damage and, in less than a week, a group of "Jerry's kids" dressed in brown uniforms and driving well over the speed limit in their brown trucks totally destroyed a $1400 fuselage.
