We have a Raptor 30 with the original wooden rotor blades so needless to say have not had any more than trial flights. The blades are sleeved in a plastic film and according to the manufacturers info you must not remove the film. The film has already come away at the ends of the blades.
Does anybody have any advise about this? Is it safe to fly or not?

Woodies are cheap replace them. The plastic also helps to hold the tip weight in.

Best option would be to replaace them.
But they can still be used if you soak the exposed wood of the blade with thin CA and then balance them.

I also had a set of blades where the plastic started to come off. You can cover the tips with a decal vinyl. As long as the wood is not damaged you should be fine. I haven't seen any problem with mine.
