I'm trying to hook up a DX6i and a JR X9303 so I can do some training.
When I start the trainer (DX6i) the swash level is totally off, full stick tilts too much to the right, mid stick is slightly off.
I tired some sub trim / Travel adust but it's just not tuning in perfectly.
Any ideas?

Did you put all 4 controls into Slave mode on the 9303 (assuming it is the Master)?

I know exactly what you are talking about but I need a little more details.
What exactly should I do with Slave mode?
The x9303 is the primary controller.
The DX6i is the trainer. When I hit the trainer switch on the x9303 the DX6i works, but has a mind of it's own, it controls the reverse switches the trim, etc.

When you go to the trainer menu on the X9303, you have to flip the 4 on screen switches.
IIRC, default is down, you need to put the up.
And the DX6i should be set to a standard 1 servo swash, and linear pitch and throttle (or simple airplane mode).

That's not Jiving for me. I tried it and the settings are all different when passed to the slave.
I did find this in the documentation.....
SLAVE MODE (CONVENTIONAL)
When using the transmitter as a slave with another DX6i it’s necessary to match all the programmable settings (i.e.
reverse, travel adjust, etc.).
Is seem this is something I might have to do. Tweak out the heli with the DX6i just to match the setting?
Any confirmation on that?

Try calling Horizon. :)
I know with two 9303s, the easiest way to to transfer the settings from the Master to the Slave, and leave both in Master mode and it works fine.
