I switched my Spectra for an Ion-X, maidened yesturday and I could not be happier, well worth the change. I don't think I will ever go back to glow or gas again. Congratulations to the guys at Miniature Aircraft. Using 2 10s2p 4000 TP packs connected in parallel, V-Paddles 95mm, MAH G2 690mm Carbon Blades, SAB 95mm Tail Blades, Futaba 611, Futaba 9252s', Fromeco 2400 Mah Li-Ion on an Arizona regulator, and the Neu motor with the Hacker 77. Would not do anything different.

Heres a Pic. :glasses2: :glasses2:

Good to hear that, I've got my Neu motor in backorder :arggg:; I just can't wait to put it in my Ion. I'm going to use it first with my 10S4P GENII packs. Hopefully they'll be able to handle things while I get some ProLites.

The only thing I would do differently would be to polish my posting abilities. Need to make 2 corrections on my previous post: my tail blades are SAB 100s and my main blades are MAH G2 700s. Sorry for the mistake, my english is not very good looking!!!!!

My cabin was custom painted by a Harley Davidson painter down in the Dominican Republic.

I still don't know how much time I will get with these packs because they only have 1 5 minute flight each, maybe this weekend I'll get some more airtime.

Mike talk to SmithB. Bobby can hook you up on an Ion and all that you need to go with it.. He will treat you right and get you initiated into the MinAir crowd..

Have bought both parts and Heli from SmithB ( Bobby ) and got great prices and service. He custom painted a canopy for me and came out fantastic with Pic's to follow as soon as I complete the air frame. Bobby has a wealth of information and can steer you the right direction and sort though the bull and give facts from hands on experience.

Great looking Ion-X, Clalo20! I just bought the G3 expansion pack today for Real Flight today and it's got the Ion-X in there. I'm just a beginner and my skills are limited to hovering, forward flight, and a little backward too, but if the sim is anything like the real deal, it's a sweet flyer! Floats like a butterfly in hover. I gave it shot tonight after loading the software.

I take it Bobby (SmithB) is a member here? Is he an MA dealer?
