Guys, yesterday a buddy call me to ask me some question on the R60 because somebody is selling one to him.

He do a lots of questions but when he ask me what are the diferences between a R60 V1 and R60V2 I was like

I fly myself a Raptor 70 so I know my heli is a V2, the only thing that I remember is that the R60v2 comes with WHITE instead of RED gears on the tail transmision and tail output.

Other than that, I dont remeber what else change.

I really apreciated if you guys can give me more details what TT changes on the R60V2 since I going with my buddy this next sunday to check this R60 in order to help him to make a good desicion.

THX,

Isaac

That's it! That's All!

kind of dumb that they wasted a Version number on it. I think they realized that when it came time to update the 30 and then the 50.

I would imagine that most R60 V1s have either been modified or destroyed by now, but here are most of the differences. It's been a long time so I may have forgotten something.

1. The tail rotor gears
2. Improved auto hub and bearing (believe it or not)
3. Front canopy support
4. Beefed up elevator arm links
5. Beefed up flybar control rods (hoops)
6. Main rotor hub. Some were crooked.

The auto hub and bearing were not included in the free upgrade kit, but was replaced by Ace if you returned your original.

Also not included in the upgrade kit were longer link ball screws. These were needed particularly for the blade grip link balls as the short ones provided tended to pull out.

The R60 V1 was kind of a nightmare for those of us brave enough to buy the first ones off the boat. For the most part, Ace did the right thing and provided timely improvements.
