I got my hands on a 14mz the other day, and it is really i mean REALLY nice! (if I had a couple or more models)..

the thing that striked me first was the screen,, I don't know if everyone noticed it but ignored or was it just the one I had on my hand.... the screen is really slow! (refresh rate that is)..

I first noticed it when monitoring the throttle percentage display while moving the sticks.. and then the setup..etc screens, switching from a screen to screen is really disappointing with all the latest PDA technology being presented today..

just my initial thoughts.. I am sure when I appreciate the countless features this Tx provides i'll simply forget that issue..

I have noticed that the screen is very slow when outdoors in cold weather.
Once I get back home and warm it (and myself) back up it is ok.
Never having owned or even played with a PDA I may just not know what I am missing.

Screens of the PDAs have been developed extensively during the last two years, you could watch movies as if watching on an HDTV. ofcourse the downside is power consumption, the screen of PDA take most of the power and batteries only lasting a few hours..

I guess futaba have thought about that and concluded that they don't really need high refresh rate, that'll save considerable amount of battery life..
