This is some night AP video from the Draganflyer SAVS helo. They all look similar but have slightly different moves in each. This was my first night AP and I was careful about movement because of the light poles.

It is important to know that this this flight was done for stills only so that's why there isn't much flying around but the video turned out to be really smooth. I don't fly using a monitor right now so everything is framed by estimating the location of the camera. Because of this, I didn't know that people had driven into the complex because of my location on the ground. They couldn't see me either but you can see them staring at the helo and I can't imagine what they were thinking.

This is aerial video that was shot earlier this year. There are some cool shots and moves throughout both flights. There was a slight wind that day so when you see noticeable bumps that's when the DF got hit with a surprise wind gust. I just love those. This is a new neighborhood so thankfully all power and phone lines are buried. That would have been real interesting flying around those.

Pretty cool!
What kind of flight times do you get with that thing?
More details about it would be cool..

just watched the home construction 2 video.
I would remove teh video if you have any idea of who the guys working on the house were, there's no less than 15 OSHA violations on the scaffolding alone.. that could be hefty fines for someone..

I don't know any of them. I just picked a couple of houses and they allowed me to fly around them. In relatively calm winds and mostly hovering and slow resets, I can fly for around 13 minutes but I don't push that close. I usually limit flights to 10 minutes to give myself enough time to return to land.
You can see the helo in flight at this link:

This is aerial video that was shot earlier this year as well and I was able to get much higher in this wide open space. There was a slight wind that day so when you see noticeable bumps that's when the DF got hit with a surprise wind gust. The first flight over this house was totally out of control because of the wind so not much video was usable from it. The wind became calmer shortly after the first flight and I got much smoother video on these subsequent flights. :)

Howdy AeroMattics. The camera used with this system is a small high resolution 480 line CCD DV quality board camera that is included in a turnkey package from Draganfly Innovations so I couldn't tell you what make or model it is.
