How long do you guys have your 3 swash links on the g4?? The directions say 29mm. But that will not be long enough. I assume the 29mm. is the length of the threaded shaft, not the total link length.
Will somebody please measure one for me?? End of link to end of link would be great..
Thanks, Jon

You should have a look at Finless' videos (found here at the Helifreak forum) - shows you setup of the swash linkages for eCCPM.

I'm not sure Finless did a video on the G4 frame, the G4 uses the same length rod for all three linkages, unlike the SE frame.
With the swashplate level using one of Helicopter John's leveling tools, collective midstick 0 pitch, my links are 42mm center of hole to center of hole using the 29mm rods, using the 4 hole horn with the ball in the 2nd hole from the servo screw, I'm getting +/-10 with no binding.

No - Finless didn't use a G4 - he used the Align eCCPM frame (not sure of product number - guess its the SE-version).
However: tha basics are covered very good in Finless' video, just be aware that the lengths of the links are different from frame to frame.
My links are also ~42mm from servo to swash on my G4.
Another problem with the servo mount is however that using the Futaba 3107 servos i cant get the links to aling perfectly with the swash - the problem is that the ball on the servo horn itself is positioned vertically/straigh below the swash-plate balls. So no matter which side of the servo horn i put the ball/ball link on, I get some angle on the swash links.... :arggg:
Any solutions?
