So I have a Gaui 200SD which I never got along with, I would set it up perfectly then have some mechanical faliure or 'dumb thumbs' on the sticks, crash it and then it would never fly the same.

Should I take out the servos and buy myself a T-Rex 250 ( when stock comes readily available in the UK ) ?

I've had every Align elec heli and been more than happy with everyone, except my first 500 which I suffered a few lock-outs on :(

One of the major put backs on the Gaui 200SD was the tail stepping out all the time, and no matter what I did I couldn't really get it perfect ( or to my perfect ). It seems lots of people are having issues with the T-Rex 250 and the tail?

ive only had these tail issues when flying a certain style. i to can make my tail blowout but i also know how to fly the heli so it doesn't. i think this is a great little helicopter, it just depends on what you want to do with it, and how you fly

I'm going with a +1 on that, the heli is not a 3D trainer, if you know how to manage collective, and cyclic and want a heli to fly in confined area, the 250 is your ship. My buddy flew his about 6 times today, it was a little windy, but no gust, he is a good pilot though, and it never blew out on him!

mine don't blow out on me on just stick banging, it wasn't holding at all. but when i put the bearings from my gaui200 in it, it held good till backwards flight, it didn't like that at all. but that might have just been the gy401
