Which blades would be better and why? Align 3K carbon 70mm or the new 72mm CY Radix tailblades (YEI-YB-72)?

had the Align CF for my 770 on the 500

it hold good, but it drifts in fast backward flight

and tail strikes are alot more visible, and the blades get ugly really quick

changed over to the Radix 72mm and boy what a difference

it looks better, it's shaped better, and it's perfectly balanced

the tail holds rock solid and the blades are so durable

Shame. I just bought Align carbon ones. Im using K&B at the moment and when I compared it to the Align, Align is smaller than the K&B ones. Im happy with how the k&b holds the tail at the moment but I hope when I change it to the align carbon, it will be better.:Slap

I'm already flying 3K carbon (not the 700 version but the 70mm 500 ones) but would the radix tailblades make any difference?

Oops you meant your gyro, not T-rex 700. Haha! So you think the radix blades give a better hold?

I can't tell a difference between KBDDs and Align CFs in flight.

That's the magic of your spartan ;) Put a 401 on your tail and you'll notice the difference. K&B's are great compared to anything plastic but compared to carbon there's a world of difference!
With 3K carbon blades and the standard settings on the spartan it's like the tail hits a brick wall when I center my rudder stick I have to tame it a bit in the decelleration profile! I just wonder if my tail will bend when I switch to CY blades :YeaBaby:

The Radix tail blades rule, they are wider chord than the Align and any other blade I've seen out there. They add great turning and stopping power, love them :YeaBaby:

I've 401 on my tail and been using K&B blades for a while. Then I put the Align carbon blades on, I can notice the different. Its has no different in holding but the tail stops lot batter that the K&B.

radix are heavy, makes for smoother flights

i stick with stock align white CFs for faster cyclics and more pop

hell, even the crappy align 425D flies like the radix o.O
