what's a fuel magnet? i'm still new and at the stage to where i'm flying a pretty stock heli. but, i see all this extra stuff people talk about, and am curious how useful it really is, or if it's just gadgetry. would like to hear opinions.

Its a 15 dollar clunk with a sponge on it that will suck every last drop of fuel out of your tank and then the motor will just quit, it won't go lean. It also helps the motor from running lean if you are getting foaming and vibration.

The downside is the foam degrades over time when muffler pressure is used and the foam needs replaced every so often, thats supposedly not an issue with crank case pressure installations like YS engines use.
