Hi today I did 3 flights with my 600 nitro and everything was going normally.

till the 4th flight ;(

when I turned on my transmiter it refused to work.
hop I will be able to tell you wat exactly is happening:

when i turn on the radio , the screen is all blank and the back light is going like an office neon light. its trying to turn on but goiing on and off on and off on and off ......

Now:
when I pressed on the enter button and turned the radio on, everything seemed normal, the radio turned on in the setup menu without transmiting signal ofcours.

but as soon as i press the enter button again to go to the norrmal flying mode it starts doing the same again.

Also when i plug to the back of the radio a DSC traning wire, it works well.

but as soon as i turn on the ON button it goes back to the problem.

it seems that i have a transmitting problem in the radio.

what do you think guyz?
shall I open and check inside for somthing or I send it to horizon??

thank you
serge

Dont be a fool and try to repair the 12X by yourself !!!!

Send it back to horizon, thats what you have a warranty for !!!

12X is a wonderful radio, get it sorted by the professionals

yep it will be better to send it in, they are pretty fast at repairs, so you wont be down to long.

Sounds like a fault in the transmit section. It's pulling down the voltage and causing it to restart. That's why it also works fine as a trainer slave; no power to the RF board. You could unplug the power to the transmit board just to test but what will you have accomplished? I agree with the other posters; get that puppy back to Horizon.

So sorry to hear it. I love my 12X.
