How can I tell if its a new kit or old one??

I just hit the buy button, should be on its way to me tommorow or the next day, boy am I excited...

Anyway I am told it is an updated kit, is there any easy way to distinguish?

It will have the CD manual, the balls do not have the non-threaded part near the base, and the tail case has reinforcing fillets around the tail fin bolt holes. Those are the most obvious changes you can actually see.

Also will come with hollow steel main shaft, and tail fin will be strong, not flimsy.

hmm i thought i have the old kit, but it did come with the cd manual ..

Oh, just check that the kit has the new part number with a "rev3" on it.

Oh wait sorry. MSH doesn't believe in revision control. Sucks for us.:roll:

correct me if im wrong but dont the new version kits also come with the tail boom with some bare metal showing where it mounts up to the frame? also should have the red canopy and the shorter shaft motor?
