Hey guys, Ive had the spectrum conversion module that I use in my jr x347 for a year or so now and it works well. I recently bought another AR9000 receiver to convert my second heli from 36 meg to 2.4 to save changing over aerials between flights of each model. I realise that each receiver is bound to the radio on a given model channel, in this case a x347 has 4 model memories.
The confusion that I have, is when I select the channel to fly my MD530, and I turn on my raptor at the same time the MD does what the radio tells it to, but also a signal is getting through to the Raptor that is sitting on the bench, even though I havent selected that model in the radio. And when I give a forward cyclic command, the raptor moves in a backwards direction. I also scrolled through the other 3 model memories in the radio and they all work on the 1 receiver even though the receiver has been bound to my radio on only 1 model memory. The same happens when I select the raptor, and the MD works in the opposite direction just like the raptor did previously. My understanding of this is that something is not right.
Any input would be appreciated.

Cheers.

Modules don't have Model Match. They work more like 72, in that all the Rxes are bound to the MODULE, which has NO idea what model memory is being used.

Only the native 2.4 Txes have Model Match (bind to a specific model memory).

Thanks for your input Pinecone. What you have said sounds like a fair thing. My main concern was being shot down by other 2.4s on the flying field. But that sounds like it won't happen. Thanks again.

Nope, no shoot downs. The Rx still only listens to the one Tx. But you CAN fire up with the wrong model selected, just like 72.
