I finished up my first gallon over last weekend... last 2 flights I took the training gear off and man... what a different machine this rappy is without those wooden dowels and wiffle balls.
Running some figure eights and not getting ahead of myself.
Now... where *is* that idle-up switch :WOW

Good feeling isn't it? Not sure if I can flip that switch yet. I want to perfect some more nose-in training. I'm not solid on it yet. I too did some 8's and ovals this weekend. Two gallons down, four more to go. I had perma-grin while I was flying my Rex in 8's, doing stall turns and some simple piro's in my street. First two tanks on the Raptor on the field on Saturday gave me a cramp in my leg from "the pucker". I eventually calmed down and went through a couple more tanks easily. Wind was really bad for us though here in VA, glad to hear OH had it easier. I think I was one of only two people flying Saturday. Not sure if that was bold or crazy/stupid.

Yea...I really still have the idle up disabled on the tx. I don't want to play with that yet and get myself in trouble.
It was pretty nice here over the weekend... and now with the clocks re-set... I may just have enough time to get out during the weekdays! :D
