Hi Guys,

I'm in the last stage of my Stratus building, the mechanical setup.
If i have my main blades at zero degrees pitch, everything is level but the Bell mixers are not.
Are'nt they supposed to be level at zero degree pitch also?

What am i doing wrong? Is it possible that the short double links between the Bell mixers and flybar carrier are to long?
They are screwed on to the rod untill the backs of the ball links touch.

Please advise.

Thanks,
Gio.

The short answer is yes. the bell mixers should be level too. Did you use the short or long ball links on the mixers? The short ones are for the bellmixer links. I've had to trim the link more on some models.

Hi,

Yes, i used the short ball links for the bell mixer to flybar carrier links.
And they are connected to the long balls of the mixers.

Shortening this links was also the only idea i had.
Anybody else who needed to do this?

Thanks,
Gio.

Gio,
It is not uncommon to shorten the links from the bell mixer to flybar to get 0 degs and the bell mixers level.
Another option is also shorten the 3 rods going to the swashplate a couple of turns each.
This will pull the swash down some and pitch also. So now you have to lengthen the long pitch rod going to the bell mixer to get 0 degs again. This will also level the bell mixer.
