Hi I am running the YS91 in my stratus at 8.18 with an MP2 I know the YS is meant to run with the 8.45 ratio for optimum power however I opted for the option that gave me the option to also fly a bit of FAI.

I would like to try out a Hatori pipe as I have heard good things about them and was wondering if the Hatori is more sensitive to the correct ratio?

So basically if I am going to run Hatori do I need to run 8.45?

The YS91 on an SB-16 will run well on anything from a 7.75 to 8.45. I've personally used it on 7.75 through 8.18 and seen enough run on 8.45 to feel comfortable with the statement.

It's not a critical motor unless you do something stupid like try to run it on a fully tuned exhaust. And you're not.......

I've read in a number of places that the YS91 + MP2 like 8.18.

From personal experience, tuning a MP2 w/YS91 at 8.45:1 is time consuming and yields questionable results.
