Ok here is what happened to me.

I received my new radio on february. When I first received the radio I took the receiver and put it on a safe place because It was not the time to use it. The transmitter is working Ok, I have tried it with PCM 1024 and PPM and no problems at all.

Today I was going to finally give the G3 receiver a try and what I found "itīs not working", I have read the manual back and forward and I am doing everything ok. When I hit the send button after a while it says "please turn on the transmitter", I have already turn it on :bomb: !!!!! I have tried to use the DSC cable and the transmitter stays forever transmiting to the receiver. It seems to me that the receiver is not getting power when I plug the battery, I have tried with fresh batteries and nothing :arggg:

Have you ever had this problem?? :?:

Should I send it to futaba??

Please help!!!!!!

Thanks

Victor

Everyone's so paranoid about the G3 that they tend to forgo common sense and logic, e.g. proper troubleshooting, before yelling WOLF. I guess if Futaba had done a better job of quelling the lock-out concerns, maybe this wouldn't be the case. Oh well .... It's still the best Tx/Rx combo I've ever used / owned!!! :glasses2:

I had the same problem with my G3, i tried diff switches no luck. I had to lay the antenna on the radio antenna and then it worked. I was a bit nervous on my first flight but it range checked at 300 ft with the antenna down.
