Do I need to put glue between tail boom and front tail boom clamp halves(0186)?

You dont need to, but what I do to ensure that the boom stays in is to first push in the tail boom all the way. Then clamp the two halves down (tighten all four screws). Then lean the helicopter forward and add alittle bit of thin CA into where the clamps and the boom meet. The thin CA will wick in there, and make sure that it doesnt move, or worse.... come out.
