Changing channel on 14MZ

Can someone please tell me step by step how to change the frequency on 14mz? Sometime I could change it but most of the time I could not change it. I did follow step by step in the manual, but sometime do work, and some don't.

Have you checked the suggestions in the 14MZ FAQ area? If not, go take a look at http://www.14mz.com/faq/faq-14mz-q795.html . It's possible something in your surroundings (environment) is interfering with the setup process, have you tried using the direct approach, ie. DSC cable?

I have had problems changing the frequency too, but when that happens, I just use the DSC cable. That works everytime.

Florescent lights may cause problems as some of them resonate on the same ELF (Extremely Low Frequency) that the 14 uses to change channels. If I turn my overhead workbench lights on, it won't work. If I turn them off, works fine. Always works for me at the field. Don't forget to put the RX's id in the radio.
