Finally got my new toy in the air!
Very smooth flying heli everything working great but the starter motor, which hangs approx 70% of the time. I think we just have a bad starter motor. Hopefully Chris will be able to get a new one out to me on Monday??!!??
Any way Gary is very jealous and amazed at the ease and simplicity of programming of my 14MZ!
I am getting the same flight times as people using the JR radio.
Thanks for your help Gary and thanks to Dr. Tim for the many hours of cheap entertainment.

Don,
Outstanding! 4-blade counterpart in the air about two hours ago, and, like you said, the 14MZ makes it a "piece of cake." Oh, and the gyro's on the head make a world of friggin difference too.

Will,
I wish you could have seen me fly it around for real but we were fighting the str motor for the last few days it was getting fustrating quick!
Wolfdad,
Keep giving detailed info about your multi blafe experience as mine will go into a scale body this summer and it will have a multi blade head!

Don,
Absolutely! Believe in sharing the experiences....good and bad. Tracking was dead on and, if anything (and, I know this is almost beyond belief), the 4 blade is smoother than the standard issue. Tail was a bit touchy, but that was easy to fix in the model menu/gyro page.

I did see you fly it a few times on Sat Don. I think at least 3 flights. It was smooth as silk!!

A new starter motor will certainly be on the way monday. As a dealer for the Wren turbine, we do try to keep spares on hand.
From what Gary told me, using his starter motor, it worked perfectly, so the problem is almost certainly with the motor, and will be replaced.
Beautiful machine!! I didn't get up to 16 minutes that soon......
:D
Sorry about the starter motor, Don. As Chris has just said, he will replace it and I will ship a couple more out to him this week to ensure he has them in stock.
I'm delighted to hear that you like the helicopter, and look forward to seeing your scale project.
