One of my Extreme's clutchbell seems to be coming apart. There is a thin metal ring that is hanging lower than the lower edge of the bell. It looks like the bell is made in two parts of metal with the inner part acting like a shim behind the liner. It has progressed to the point where it is extending about 1/2mm beyond the lower edge of the bell and digging into the carbon fiber clutch plate. I'm sorry for the fuzzy picture but you can kind of see what's happening. Is there anything I can do about this or is it going back to MA for repair?

Thanks,

Bob

I'd send it in for repair. MA can reline it and true the liner to the bell as they go.

To update on my clutch bell liner, it turns out that it was the liner that was slowly working its way out. It had dropped enough to cut about .10mm into the G10 frame. I'm very surprised that the liner hadn't already spun out as it was very loose in the bell.
