Anybody know what cable is used for the G3 simulator?

I see it's a square plug on the back of the G3 transmitter..?

Will the transmitter go from PCM to PPM on it's own if I set it up that way for a unique model just for the G3?

Any other things that I should prep the transmitter for on the G3???

Not sure if G3 comes with a square to square buddy cord with it, but that's what you would use to connect a 12Z/14MZ to the G3 Interlink controller. The G3 Interlink controller itself uses USB to connect to your PC.

You have to select PPM on the frequency screen on the 14MZ. Suggest you create a model just for G3 on your controller and set PPM as the default TX medium.

I haven't connected my 14MZ to G3, so I can't help in that area. I have connected it to my XTR though, not sure if the setup is the same.

Yes, the 12Z and 14MZ will work with G3 using the cables provided. You need to switch the transmitters to PPM mode just like any other transmitter. It is probably best to setup a model memory that you use just for the simulator.

Yes, the cables that come in the box (http://www.realflight.com/products/interlink-images/gpmz4400-inset1-2.jpg) will work with Futaba, JR, Hitec and Horizon Hobby transmitters.
