Well, just found out that I am about to be 'posted' away from home for a while so I thought I would create a new screensaver for my lap top.....and let you guys share! Foreground (rex 450) Middle ground (Pink Firestorm) Back Ground (Trusty Hurri). Enjoy

JB,
Buy a case and take the Trex - doesn't need as much space as the Hurri
I hope that it is somewhere cold - I've been out flying again, I can only manage one battery at a time as it was -0.5 celcius this morning.
Cheers
Mike.

And I see the Borneo Christmas "Bird of Fertility" in the background....
Don't worry JB......as long as you have your computer and can get to HF.....we'll harass, cajol, and give you a hard time, so you will NEVER feel like your alone.
In the meantime.....Ben will take care of your equipment and your wife while your gone.....
If I had more time......I would volunteer to go over and stay at your house and "take care of buisiness" while you were gone.....maybe another freak is available....like Marco....he's not far away !! :banana

Sodster.....we are not allowed to talk about RC cars here......so I will whispher ITS BLOODY AWESOME!!! I took it out for its first scream around the beach yesterday (which is why the wheels are covered in sand) and it really does zip along. I have the 10t which is brushless and I recommend getting a spare battery from the start. This is mainly because you will want to keep going when your first battery has died!
Bob.....ITS NOT PINK!!
Ben will be babysitting the helis but the wife is perfectly capable of looking after herself, my old job used to see me disappearing for long periods of time and I am sure she actually likes it that way (one less person to look after!) Ben has kindly agreed to 'pimp' my 450 while I am away (Hughes 500 scale) so I will have something to look forward to.
Mikej, you are missing the point buddy.....RC is a REALLY big no no where I am going. Rc planks have been used as terrorists 'tools' there and have actually delivered incendary devices into government buildings. So, rocking up with my Spectrum may raise a few eyebrows!
The 'boy wonder' will be flying inverted by the time I get back, his flying has already improved massively and I am soon to be left in his slipstream!
Happy New Year Guys

They actually ran the film "Pretty in pink" on TV here yesterday!!! Blaaaarghh, parts of the eighties are well worth forgetting! I only managed 5 minutes before zapping on.

Hey Bob
So you got the truck running in the end then? Looks like you gave it a work out
Dont let the missus see that picture of the dirty truck on her table!!
Not sure about inverted hovering but i will be happy to stay at the level of the last flights for a while!
See ya Saturday mate
