anyone ever broke roller pin

help me improve next time
i have stratus doing a hard piro flips. and broke roller pin of the front tramission shaft(0832-6) and have no control of the tail.
are there anyway can i take roller pin out and put solid pin in . is that make it harder .
please let me know . the way to fix.

I know anything is possible. But personally I have not heard of anyone breaking the pins in the delrin couplers during a flight. Yes I have seen them break in a crash.
I guess you could put a steel pin in place of the rolled pin.
I would suggest just getting a new 0832-6 and replace the whole assembly.

Did the roll pin actually shear or did it just come out of the hole?

For that pin to break something had to be in one hell of a bind. I'm with David, are you sure it broke or just come out of the hole.

thank you for reply. the pin actuclly shear before it broke when i open it up i have many pissed,, once pisse stuck in the middle of the shaft....
i am sure is no binding .. the only thing i can think of is the crash before had made damage roll pin (twist the roll pin)
on piro flips i give max on the tail .... and do it more often..
i dont know that push to hard for the roll pin...
