I have my tail setup and in normal mode i have no problem. at center i have 4.5mm between the pitch slider and the tail rotor casing but when i switch to heading hold and move the stick right i bind really bad what do i adjust to stop the binding it does not bind in normal mode just HH i have a JR9303 and a raptor 50 with 9254 servo i was following the instructions on raptortechnique

There are instructions for the 401 and JR radios there.
I listened to one of the older guys and set the direction of the gyro, and fly it.
As they said, the gyro will not allow the servo to bind in flight... I can make it bind about 3/4 travel on the bench.
FWIW: there is a 'Limit' trimmer on the 401, right on top.
You should be able to start the gyro in HH and allow it to set. Switch to Normal, add right full and set limit and do the same for left.

Yea i think what my problem is i feel that im not getting enough left rudder movement it looks like its barely moving .i used the trimmer and dialed out the bind. boy im such a noob

Don't know how true it is, but I was told not to use trim on the 401 with a digital servo. Just use the limiter on the gyro.

Speed reading again? re-read two posts up and you will see reference to a limit 'trimmer' meaning adjustable potentiometer.
you CAN use TX trim on the 401.
