I don't have a final weight yet, as the build is not complete. But I was curious. Where have you mounted the "1900 mah battery"?
Do you have a pic?

No, I do not have my camera at the moment, but it is on the front "Battery" tray. I have it stuck to one side w/ velcro, and have a small velcro strap as well. My bec is on the front right lower frame. Kind of next to the battery, and my esc is on the back left.

I dont think you get to call it a BEC when using a rx pack :) Have you flown it yet ?

Yes, I have about 20 flights on it. How about a "bac"?

BEC = Battery eliminate Circuit , if you have a rx battery you haven't actually eliminated the battery :P

Bac, Battery addition circuit.

if you can possibly manage it you are best off running something like the Herc BEC on the 550, running a separate rx battery adds a lot of weight you can really do without.
My 550 comes in at 3kg exactly.

My 550 is just a LITTLE heavier than 3kg WITH a separate RX battery;)

So you are at 6 lbs 10 oz. If I converted correctly, and I probably did not. What is the rest of your set up?

scorpion 4020-1390, hv85, herc bec, ino-lab 760hb servos, bls 251 tail servo and CSM 720 gyro.
I have a little extra weight on there in the HV85 as the machine is intended to fly both 6S and 8S/10S/12S setups as and when I get the time.
