John (Bigcr),

Do you use J-B Weld or the Black CA when gluing the tail control rod together? (The long one from bellcrank to tail)

The manual gives the option of CA or JB on most other parts where gluing is required but for the tail rod it only mentions the JB.

I personally will not use JB weld.

I use the black CA and have used it for boom supports, frames, tail control rods, torque tubes, etc. It has never failed me yet and I have never been able to dis-assemble a properly glued joint without destroying the components. I use acetone to clean the parts, scuff them up to provide some "tooth" and use the black CA.

I'm too lazy to clean up the parts with acetone, so I use the JB qwick. So far, so good..
