fp evo 20 5s and 6s

i just ordered some evo20 3700 mah packs 6s and 5s to run on my
xero- g 700 ep stretch project. after watching the ion on them i think it'll really rock.
we'll see what happens next

it's running a schulze 32.55,actro 24-5,8.63:1 ratio(r90 95T main and mikado 11T pinion) 11s emoli's weighed it yesterday 9lbs 6 oz.w/ packs.
the cells weigh 100gms eack so 1100gm of battery 3amps but 15c so
these 3700fp should be able to give up the amps and last longer. duralite was out of the 6s so i got them from helicopter world hopfully be here in a few days.

Woo Hoo! just got em today they are mongo packs! a little liter than the emolis i'm runnin now but they'll put out a lot more "crankin' "amps! :D

flew it a little just a pop or two and some forward flight it was great!!
i need to tweak on the throttle curve when i went to idle 2 it spooled up way more that it will with the emolis and got to shaking. it settled down some after the packs ran down a little.

looking good , I can say this on my 6s evo pack in my logo 10 , and a set of 5s2p 4200 , evos are about 10% more grunt , tail hangs a whole lot better than the 4200s , power is great and last just as long , and I been charging them at 6 amps too :mrgreen:

yeh , thats what he has , he was at MO this year , didnt get a chance to video it though , but its like the Ions , actro 24 series motors sure run great , he seen the 24-3 run , I bet that little motor put out 3000+ watts , but you got to spin it to get it , motor that is , gearing that 24-3 would be it in the little 500

yep evo 90 head 690 v blades. iv'e had some shakes to get ironed out ,
i was tryin to use a logo main shaft but it didn't hold up. so we got a evo main shaft and life is much better now! i'm getting 6 min flights so far,and usually put back around 2800 mah. still only have 10 - 12 cycles on the evo packs. i went to 12s on the emolis and the cc hv 85 seems to be working good so far but i need to finish getting everything tweaked. going to see if i have it set up right today.
i'm glad i saw the post on the ion w/ 10s evo packs these are the best packs i've used . i made a balance lead similar to the one you are using to hook up the astro flight blinky balancer and balance them during charging the 5s pack usually dosen't take much to balance, the 6s pack takes about 10 to 15 min after the charge to completly balance. and i charge them at 3.5 amps on a schulze charger so far so good.
