Hi There

Just been watching some videa of you back in December 05 tearing it up with your Evo 90. Some great flying.

I was just wondering how much work had gone into prepping the Evo from out of the box to get it to that standard. Also, it would be good to have some basic idea what radio, pipe, blades you use.

I am thinking of making the Evo my route back into flying after a self imposed lay off and some info to help my planning would be much appreciated.

Many thanks (Excelent forum, by the way guys)

Mark

Cool. Thanks Jon. Are those the Hirobo dampeners or the Carbon-Extreme fancy ones?

I believe Will is using the Hirobo 80 durometer versions in his machine.

Sorry guys!! Didnt see this post. Not sure which vid you saw. There were alot of changes between vids.

os cspec w/kline and big bore
sb-18
80 durometer dampners
ccpm 3x9451 @ 6volts
Arizona regulator
Radix 710s
metal head (not in that vid)
mah paddles

Im running 12 degrees each way. Not sure what the cyclic is. I just maxed it out. Its running awesome. This is the best setup I think I have flown. I was running the stylus on that vid. I really liked it. Very fast. But I have just switched to the 12z and its flying pretty good.

The evo would be a great way to come back. For the price you cant beat it. It flys great out of the box. Very stable but can 3d with the best of them. You dont need any upgrades. Youll be very happy with your decision.
Hope this helps.

Thanks White

That's good info. I'm getting my cheque book out pretty soon. Looking forward to dusting off the old moves (and some new ones too).

Thanks again
