JR 770 with the 8900G is a very nice combination. Using that on my TREX 600CF.

How to setup the 770 in 7c Radio then, my friends say it is so hard to setup it ???

I don't own a 7C radio. I don't know why it is hard to setup with that radio, it should be the same for all the radios. The only setting you do in the radio is to setup the gyro gain. The 770 should be as easy as the 401 to setup, though I've heard the 770 is a little more sensistive to setup, but it works better when setup correctly.

When it comes to setup the gyro, remember to set the endpoint values of the rudder to the highest to get higher resolution. Decrease the D/R in the radio of the rudder to decrease piro-speed. Also remember to adjust the expo on the rudder channel (on Futaba radio, decrease the expo value from 0 to negative to decrease the sensitivity of the rudder).

I found this thread:

Thank you so much.
I am going to buy the JR 770, I like the Japan Radio (JR) products, so my next Radio is gonna be JR DSX9.:smokin::thumbup:

The thing is, a 770 does NOT setup like a 401. So follow the vids and there is a long thread in the main section about setting one up.

People set them up like they would a 401 and then get mad because it doesn't work. It is NOT a 401. :)

If you look on the Vibe 50 at the tail linkage, then you see that when everything is 90 then the tail blades have some pitch to counter-act torque. (right pitch) I Used rate mode to get my tail linkage adjusted dead nuts 90 degrees when hovering (i know thats not what they say to do but it works wonderfully). After test flying, i have dead equal piro rates and stops either direction using the same atv's value on each side. At the recomend vibe 50 mannual setting of 105%, you will have an INSANE piro rate. Piros so fast the tail is nearly invisable. Use 50% expo to start.

I would put the link ball 14mm out on the servo wheel to start. the recomended 17mm is too far and you will have to reduce the gain way down to get rid of tail wag. Im at 60 in my gryo sense menu on a dx7 and so far, in backwards-inverted flight, the 770/8900G is holding good.
