It seems that the latest 14MZ update changed how the Gyro and Governor functions work. If you employ these functions, then you can only adjust behavior by using their respective Model menus, ie. Gyro menu and Governor menu. This may lead to some confusion in cases where you are used to setting up a switch and simply using AFR or ATVs to control rates (particularly if you use non-Futaba gear). Since now these two functions are tied to their respective screens, any changes in ATV/AFR are quietly ignored.
There is an alternative ... instead of using Gyro or Governor, employ Gyro2/3 or Governor2 functions. These will allow you to manage the channels the old-fashioned way. You can still use the Gyro function and Gyro menu the "old" way by employing NORM-type and setting rates for different switch positions or using GY but understanding how Futaba assigns rate under that condition.
