OK guys, I loaded g3, installed a new video card (nvidia 6200 oc 256mb) and when I get the g3 loading screen, it never starts up! I registered online and I know the serial numbers are right but nothing happens! I'm running a 2.4g processor, 512mb ram, 256mb vid. what gives?

I have a 6200 TC in my work PC and it works just fine there. Do you get any error messages or anything? If you start the task manager, does it show RealFlight as a running process? I might help if you listed the exact steps you perform to run RealFlight G3 and what it does at every step... for example
I double-click RealFlight G3 Launcher icon on desktop. RealFlight G3 Launcher window appears.
I click the Run RealFlight button in the launcher window and RealFlight starts loading.
I get an error message that says Error Creating Effect GrassBillboards

I do steps 1 and 2 exactly, but no error message! the loading screen comes up for about 15 seconds then goes away! weirdest thing.

Have you downloaded the latest drivers from nVidia? Get the latest detonator pack if you haven't. Is your DirectX v 9 or greater? (click on start, run, type dxdiag) It will be on the first tab down at the bottom after Direct X version:

Yeah I have all the latest Nvidia drivers and windows updates. But I changed the compatabilty to win98 and it works! I dont know why it doesnt like my XP pro, it says it works with xp! oh well! I think its harder to fly on sim than in real life!

The same PC that has the 6200 is running XP. The laptop downstairs that I use to work at home runs XP, as do most of the test computers we have. Something is not right with your system. I have no way of telling what it is off hand, but something is obviously wrong.

I have XP Pro on my main box, no sim problems for me. hmmm... Was it originally XP or was it an upgrade?

Are you running any window theme type software? There was a guy over on our forums this week that was having problems and it turned out to be some interaction with some window skinning software that came with his alienware PC.

I run XP Pro... no problems here... but from what I've seen in the past with gaming, you problem is either sound or video related.
re-install the latest nvidia drivers
then
re-install DX 9c (the latest)
I know you said you have done this but sometimes you need to ensure dx9 is installed after the video driver.
