I have looked at ricks but do they sell the HD clutch as a hole complete unit? I want the bell and bearing block w/11t pinion shaft and shoe.

Heavy Duty clutch will screw onto Extreme clutch assembly. Don't know if there is a complete HD clutch assembly with bearing block for Extreme.

I am confused then. I thought all the newer extreme kits came with the HD clutch assembly? Or should I just purchase the shoe and the bell assembly and use my old bearing blocks? The extreme I have now is just an upgraded expert and has the annodized bronze color clutch bell. I thought since I had my machine torn apart that I would go ahead and install the updated clutch. Do you think the bronze color clutch will hold up to a ys .91? I have not had any issues with the clutch failing or slipping but I am not hard core 3d.

I personally don't know if the HD clutch system comes in the Extreme or not.
When I went to the HD clutch system. I just got the HD clutch bell and clutch only. I screwed the smaller bell off the pinion and screwed the new HD bell on. Same thing with clutch, unscrewed the smaller clutch and screwed the HD clutch on. Took me less than 30 mins once I had the assembly out of the heli.

I ran the smaller clutch system for a long time without any problems with 91 size engines. I did have two clutch liners break loose from the bell within about a month timeframe. This happened with the old style liners that were one piece. Now the liners are split and there is more adhesive holding the liner in place. So I put an HD system in that heli. I have one Tempest running the smaller clutch system and one running the HD clutch system. Both are powered by OS 91 C specs with OMI carbs.

Well I guess for now I will run the regular clutch bells. I have one left with a new liner and when that one wears out I will upgrade. Thanks for the info david.
