If so, how did you mount the magnet and sensor? did you have to drill a hole in the shroud?
Thanks.
Ivan
ill the sensor be strong enough to sens the magnet through the shroud, since plastic is transperant to magnetic fields?

Ivan,
I found that it would not sense the magnet through the shroud...tried it both ways. Also, I would recommend that, once you are satisfied with the location of the hole and mounting and, after you have checked to make sure everything works, that you use some Scotch tape on the inside of the shroud to cover any over-size on the hole, then, on the outside, fill in the hole with JB weld so no cooling air is lost. That is, unless you were spot-on with your hole. I realize this becomes a permanent fixture, however shrouds and sensors are available.

Does any other companies make any type of after market for this model with the magnet holes already drilled?
