And notice one thing about this post, Helifreak does NOT stop links to other forums. :lol: :lol:

Oh, and Dan, I think you've under estimated the banned RR membership by a very large margin. I believe if you count the members here on Freak alone, you'll get way above your estimate. :shock: :lol:

Wasn't rchelispot.com started as a result of some conflict with Mark Ryder? I believe all the sponsers on the left side of his site are RR sponsers that he lets advertise for free.

Hey Bob no worries, this is cool place for sure as well. Do not feel alone, a Century rep recently reported me to Mark Ryder as well, he didn't like me telling the truth about all the Swift heli issues and reported me, pretty lame. I got my so called warning to back off the Century reps. Well I guess he must have been getting his sword rubbed by a Century guy, lol. Oh well I will continue to tell the truth to people on my findings and I am glad to see you will as well, cheers.

Apart from the fact that he sincerely doesn't care about anything other than his own selfish ass, he probably won't notice until people stop going to his site because there's no-one there to answer any questions!

I'm totally disgusted that 2 years of helpful threads have been deleted just because the idiot has too big an ego.

Someone mentioned earlier in this thread that his advertisers should be told - I think it's a good idea, although possibly a little naive while-ever the traffic is high enough for them to warrant using his site.

The better option would be to inform as many people as possible about whats happened and get them to stop using his site - simple :)

I think this decision (of many many bad decisions) will come back to haunt him...

OK, but by whom?

If so, thats of zero consequence.
If people PM'ed others on there, emailed their RC friends, posted on other forums, etc etc etc - people will eventually get the message that RR is not a good place to be and will instead come to places like this.

Having people running forums that think deleting a seriously large amount of good information is an acceptable thing to do should not, must not and cannot be tolerated.
I'm still incredibly disgusted so please excuse my slight ranting at this stage...

LOTS AND LOTS of people have gotten pissed and tried to subvert RR. You guys don't think you are the first folks to get pissed off about this do ya? Off the top of my head:
- Minature Aircraft people - that actually helped start this site
- Raptor people - that birthed Team-Raptor.com
- The turbine folks - that was last month
- Heck I scarified my 4th account today because of you guys ;)

#1 - KNOW that MR reads this and other helicopter sites. He takes his business VERY seriously. Posting your plans publicly is a BAD PLAN. I do however suggest you PM you friends and let them know where you will be.

#2 - Once he figures out you are an "insider" he will check you buddy list and PM's tracking what you do. I know this sounds like I have a tinfoil hat on but keep fn'ing up on his site and he will send you a PM asking you to call him.

#3 - It will be VERY tempting to go back over there because "everyone is there" and say something like "Well I will kiss ass and play by his rules for a while". You will regret it.

I guess HD wasn't one of his paying advertisers so he had to nip that in the bud. I almost fell out of my chair when I saw he was blocking all words containing other forums.

Yes, but you can access your videos from many sites and bypass RR completely. You are only doing 'steve' a service, not RR

If they were exclusive to RR and carried an RR/HD watermark, then it would be a different story I believe.

Ozydego - FWIW This morrning there were 117551 posts to the trex site on RR. as of now there are 116971. 580 posts of info poof. including videos. We or newbs will never see them again, untill it gets posted here. Sorry man but i think your gonna have to wait. what was rr thinking. i think this is the straw that broke the camels back.
